Groovy Smoothie's

I’m kind of obsessed with smoothies because they are easy, delicious, and my 15 month old loves them. It’s a great way to pack a lot of nutrients into one drink. Most the smoothies I make are a mixture of random fruit, some greens, nuts or seeds, and either juice or almond milk. This smoothie in particular is one of my favorites.

I didn’t really measure anything out, so I’m just going to dive in to the instructions instead of doing prep time, ingredients, and all that jazz.

1. Ground 3 1/2 spoonfuls of flax seeds. You can use a food processor or a coffee grinder, or just put it in your blender and blend until they look fairly ground.

2. Add in your greens. I used spinach.

3. Add in your fruit. For this smoothie I used 1 fresh kiwi. Frozen strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries.

4. Add in Orange Juice. Fill halfway.

5. Blend until all your fruit and spinach are blended together and have a smooth consistency.

6. Pour into a cup, and enjoy!
